BOR Patriarch welcomes Dutch Ambassador, discuss migrants’ issue

Romanian Orthodox Church (BOR) Patriarch Daniel has met on Tuesday the Dutch Ambassador in Bucharest Stella Ronner-Grubacic, in a presentation visit. His Beatitude said on this occasion that “the hospitality based on love and Christian philanthropy should be accompanied by a realistic approach according to the each country’s economic potential.”
According to a Patriarchy release, Patriarch Daniel has wished the Dutch Ambassador success in her diplomatic mission in Romania.
According to a release from the Patriarchy, the migrants issue was discussed. In the opinion of the Dutch Ambassador, swift solutions involving all EU Member States are needed.
The release underscores that the Dutch Ambassador thanked for the honour of being welcomed in a presentation visit and underlined that one of her priorities is to intensify the cooperation between the two countries, including in the cultural field.
