British young tourist tragically dies in ATV accident in Romania
A British 24-year-old woman died following ATV crash during a contest in Margau village, Cluj county, central Romania.
Local police says the young woman was taking part in a ATV contest on Thursday afternoon when the vehicle turned over the woman.
“According to the preliminary checks, the young woman, British citizen, aged 24, would have suddenly slammed the brakes on and overturned, with injuries on the chest causing her death,” the Police in Cluj said.
The young woman was taken by helicopter to a hospital in Targu-Mures, but doctors could not save her anymore and the death was pronounced.
The Police is continuing the investigation to establish the circumstances of the accident.
