The Bucharest Police is investigating the mysterious disappearance of the 32-year-old DJ. He has gone missing after posting a farewell note on his Facebook page.

Farewell, my friends! See you in another life than this one. Forgiveness is pointless, the fact is spent,” DJ Alex Dumitache wrote.

Judicial source revealed to local news agencies that the artist had gone missing. “There is a complaint filed by his family, but further details are not available at this moment,” sources from the Bucharest told Mediafax.

Other sources closed to his family stated that Alex problems began a year ago when he broke up with his girlfriend. Later on, he would have started accumulating debts at gambling, while six months ago he decided to move to Brașov. He came back to Bucharest early this year, with the above-mentioned sources claiming that a friend whom he had asked to lend him some money was the last person to see him on Monday night.

Alex Dumitrache, aka Axu Deejay, worked in a pub in Bucharest six months ago, which is owned by Andrei Năstase, the son of former Social Democrat premier Adrian Năstase. The two of them are shown in a picture posted on Facebook.

In retort, Andrei Năstase said they had only had a professional relationship, as they have collaborated last summer, but that he was not familiar with other potential problems of the DJ.
