Businessman Vasile Turcu passed away. The ex-Dinamo shareholder attempted suicide last week
Former FC Dinamo Bucharest shareholder, Vasile Turcu, 62, passed away on the night of Wednesday to Thursday, medical sources inform.
“Vasile Turcu has died. He was declared dead at 2.00h,” the same sources say.
Former shareholder of Dinamo football club in Bucharest, Vasile Turcu, was hospitalized at Floreasca Hospital last Wednesday in serious condition, apparently in cardiac arrest, after a failed suicide attempt.
Medical sources had confirmed that Turcu tried to hang himself. The businessman was found by a member of his family and the SMURD rescue team arrived in due time and managed to resuscitate and rush him to the hospital.
Vasile Turcu had recently revealed he considers coming back in the football business, six years after he had given up the shares at FC Dinamo.
