A cat has been captive in a dress shop in Drobeta Turnu Severin for several days, after the tax revenue inspectors had closed the building down. The shop had been sealed up before New Year’s Eve.

Passers-by noticed the animal more than a week ago and wanted to save it, but they couldn’t as the building is officially closed down.

A woman called 112 and asked for the firemen’s help, but they directed her to the Police, which in its turn, said it’s possible but the inspectors within the National Authority for Fiscal Administration (ANAF) would have to be present when the shop is opened. ANAF inspectors promised to come to open the shop on Friday.

The dress shop had been sealed up due to some problems encountered by the Turkish owner.
