The National Meteorology Administration (ANM) has issued on Tuesday a warning of bad weather for the entire country and Code Yellow for rainfalls in several counties.
The warning comes into force on Tuesday as of 15.00h and expires on Friday at 10.00h.
During this interval, most of the country will witness high atmospheric instability, with torrential rainfall, electric discharges and wind gusts, storms and hail. The water quantities will exceed, on short period of time or by accumulation, 15-25 litres per square metre and on isolated areas 40 litres per square metre, ziare.com reports.
In the counties of Mehedinti, Gorj, Valcea, Dolj, Caras-Severin, Timis and locallu in Hunedoara County the water quantities will exceed 25 l/sq m and locally 40-60 l/sq m.
In Bucharest, atmospheric instability will be increasing, higher on Wednesday and Thursday. Meteorologists say rainfalls are expected, accompanied by electric discharges and wind gusts. Water quantities will reach 15-25 l/sq m, with temperatures of about 20 degrees Celsius, expect on Wednesday when the highs will reach 23-24 degrees C. Lows of 10-12 degrees C.
