Meteorologists have issued on Wednesday a new warning for atmospheric instability, with torrential rain and electric discharges, along with wind gusts, storms and hail on Saturday.
29 counties will be, as of 13.00h under the Code Yellow warning.
As of Wednesday at 11.00h, until Saturday 10.00h, high atmospheric instability is expected, mainly in the western, northern and central regions and in the mountainous regions in the first part of the interval, followed by the same phenomena in eastern, southern, central and northern Romania.
Water quantities may reach 15-25 litres per square metre and 35-50 l/sq m on isolate areas.
As of Wednesday, at 13.00h, until Thursday at 6.00h, 29 counties will be under the Code Yellow warning.
The regions affected: Banat, Crisana, Maramures, Transylvania, western and northern Oltenia and Moldavia, with electric discharges, hail, storms and torrential rain. Water quantities: 25 l/sq m and 40-50 l/sq m on isolated areas.
The counties under the Code Yellow warning are: Satu Mare, Maramureş, Sălaj, Suceava, Bistriţa-Năsăud, Neamţ, Harghita, Mureş, Braşov, Covasna, Prahova, Dâmboviţa, Argeş, Vâlcea, Mehedinţi, Gorj, Sibiu, Alba, Cluj, Bihor, Arad, Timiş, Caraş Severin, Hunedoara , Botoşani, Iaşi, Bacău, Vrancea and Buzău.
