Darius Valcov, under judicial control for releasing secret protocol on Facebook
Anti-organised crime prosecutors have placed former minister and PM’s ex-adviser Darius Valcov under judicial control for 60 days under the charge of disclosing a secret that is jeopardizing the national security after having released on Facebook a secret protocol concluded between the National Intelligence Service (SRI) and the Prosecutor’s Office upon the High Court of Cassation and Justice.
The document was ranked as state secret.
Although the protocol produced no more effects, as SRI and the General Prosecutor’s Office had previously announced, it was a secret document though. The protocol would have originated from the Prosecutor’s Office upon the Court of Appeal in Constanta, where of Adina Florea came, former contender for the helm of the special section to investigate magistrates.
Valcov is facing a pending verdict in a high-sounding file, where he had been sentenced to 8 years in prison for influence peddling and money laundering.
