The death toll in the murder cases at the Mental Hospital in Sapoca, Buzau county, has climbed to six after another patient admitted in serious condition in a hospital in Bucharest had died.
A 38-yearold man admitted to the Săpoca Mental Hospital in Buzau County killed four other patients with an I.V. stand on August 18, while injuring other nine. Several days later, a fifth injured victim died.
The sixth victim is a 79-year-old woman who was admitted to the University Hospital. She died on Monday morning after undergoing some complex surgeries. She was admitted in a very serious condition. Throughout the treatment, the patient was on a respirator, mechanically ventilated.
Now, seven victims are admitted to the hospitals in Bucharest.
Another patient is admitted to the University Hospital, but she is in stable condition.
The patient hospitalised at Pantelimon Hospital has been transferred to the Buzau County Hospital, the neurology unit on Friday.
The other patient admitted to Pantelimon Hospital is still on respirator, in a serious, deep coma.
The 62-year-old patient admitted to Bagdasar Emergency Hospital is scheduled for surgery today.
The 83-year-old woman hospitalised here has a positive evolution, is expected to be transferred to Buzau. while the 60yo man at Bagdasar also has a positive evolution, but he faces surgery.
The patient admitted to Floreasca is still in a serious condition, still in coma. Moreover, he has severe hypertension relapses and fever.
