AIESEC Romania international organisation initiated the Discover national project early this month, a project intended for the primary school pupils in Romania which came to its second edition already.
The Discover project was initiated on May 9 and will close in end June, running in 13 Romanian cities: Bucharest, Iași, Brașov, Pitești, Oradea, Cluj-Napoca, Timișoara, Târgu-Mureș, Suceava, Craiova, Arad, Galați, Sibiu.
Around 300 volunteers from around the world are expected to perform interactive sessions for the Romanian pupils.
The project aims at providing children with a wide perspective on the other cultures, on the informal education in order to develop more abilities in the emotional intelligence area such as communication, creativity, team work, responsibility, awareness and in order to fit in the society more easily.
Sessions will be performed by volunteers coming from Poland, Greece, Egypt, Pakistan, Hong Kong or Brazil. They will provide children with an intercultural perspective over the world and help them develop on personal level. The pupils will be also able to improve their English abilities, as the sessions are held in English.
AIESEC is the international platform for the youngsters who want to discover and develop their leadership pontential.
