DNA chief Kovesi to receive France’s Legion of Honour

The National Anticorruption Directorate (DNA) Chief Prosecutor Laura Codruta Kovesi will receive the Legion of Honour in the rank of Knight from the French Ambassador in Romania, Francois Saint-Paul.

The awarding ceremony will take place on Tuesday, 18:00h, at the French Embassy in Bucharest, reads a message sent on Friday by the representatives of French diplomacy to Ziare.com.

Laura Codruta Kovesi was decorated also by the US. In 2014 she received from the US Embassy in Bucharest the award for the bravest woman in the world.
