100% acceptance rate at foreign universities for students who submitted applications through the Youni platform
The acceptance rate for students who utilized the Youni platform to apply to foreign universities in 2023 was 100%, marking the second consecutive year of such success.
Consequently, 215 Romanian students, utilizing the services offered by the Youni platform, gained admission to foreign universities, embarking on the academic year 2023-2024 in cities such as New York, Paris, or Berlin, among others. They collectively submitted approximately 2800 applications, with one student notably achieving acceptance to 10 universities simultaneously.
“Our organizational objective is to assist young individuals in identifying the most suitable academic institution and to provide them with the requisite resources to realize this objective. The Youni platform facilitates access to information, counseling, mentorship, and a space for honing skills through extracurricular projects. We derive satisfaction from the fact that all students under our guidance successfully secured admission to their preferred universities, progressively aligning with our mission of aiding a million students in realizing their potential and pursuing their chosen career paths,” declared Andrei Nicolae, Founder and CEO of Youni.
Among the 215 admitted students, approximately 50% opted to pursue studies in the United States, with 35% electing to study in Europe. The remaining 15% commenced their academic pursuits in Asia and Australia.
Youni, an educational technology company, strategically invests in cultivating an international ecosystem focused on personal development and mentorship for young individuals aspiring to undertake studies abroad. The company’s comprehensive platform streamlines the relationship dynamics between universities and students, facilitates the faculty selection process, provides counseling services to students, and supports the application procedure. Based on its recent accomplishments – encompassing
the total number of students admitted to applied universities and the acceptance rate – Youni solidifies its standing as a preeminent entity in the Eastern European market for such educational platforms.
Through the Youni platform, young individuals benefit from comprehensive support for curriculum vitae development, essay composition, and the realization of passion projects, alongside guidance for standardized tests such as the SAT.
Since the inception of its precursor, the vreaulafacultate.ro website, the Youni team has facilitated over 3000 students in realizing their aspiration of studying at their chosen foreign university. Notably, in 2023, students applying through the Youni platform secured scholarships and financial assistance from universities amounting to a cumulative sum of USD 24 million. Furthermore, the company expanded its operational footprint beyond national borders in the preceding year, establishing a presence in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
