The educational platform for students “Vreau La” expands with “Vreau La Examen”, a section dedicated to those who want to prepare online for the Baccalaureate exam or for the National Assessment. The platform is free of charge, it has 21,000 users, and the founders aim to reach 50,000 by the end of next year.

In partnership with the National Council of Students, the e-learning platform provides students with brief lessons for subjects such as Romanian Language and Literature, Mathematics, History, as well as self-assessment tests. Simulations and tests are updated and the results are provided in real-time.

Seeking teachers to create tests

The materials on the platform are prepared by students from student associations, as well as by volunteers from the National Council of Students. At this time, the platform provides:

– 300+ materials for seven subjects

– 146 training tests

– 4000+ grid questions, divided o chapters

– tips & tricks for quick learning

“We launched this platform to help students study more effectively, but also to be able to self-evaluate. We all know how important it is to have the tools to help us learn in order to get the results we want. By the end of the year, we want to add tests for all subjects and find as many volunteers as possible to provide content for our platform. Another objective is to attract sponsorships because in order to grow we need more teachers to prepare multiple choice tests constantly”, says Mihai Pîrvuleț, co-founder of VreauLa.

11,000 students since the section for National Assessment and Baccalaureate was launched

The “VreauLa” platform was launched in April 2020 by Mihai Pîrvuleț and Codruț Lemeni, second year students at the Politehnica University. Initially, the site included tests for the admission to the Politehnica University of Bucharest, the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Medicine. A month ago, the two co-founders also launched the VreauLaExamen section for preparing students for the National Assessment and the Baccalaureate.

The site currently has 21,000 users for all its four sections: VreauLaPoli, VreauLaMedicina, VreauLaDrept, VreauLaExamen. Of these, 11,000 high school students are users of VreauLaExamen, a section dedicated to the Baccalaureate and the National Examination. The founders want to attract 50,000 users by the end of 2022.

New features

This school year, the platform “VreauLa” has new functionalities:

– students can compare their weekly progress against other users

– a new test is added every week to inspire students to work constantly;

– apart from tests, the platform includes learning materials for various subjects.

“VreauLa” is looking for teachers and collaborators interested in contributing with new tests to support students and increase the list of subjects available online.
