Romanian Students Win 4 Gold, 1 Bronze at European Physics Olympiad
- Felix Tudose – gold medal;
- Alexandru Momoiu – gold medal;
- Ionuț Stan – gold medal;
- Andrei Dragomir – gold medal;
- Alexandru Mirică – bronze medal;
“Moreover, Felix Tudose achieved the best result in the theoretical test and the experimental test, thus being the absolute champion of the competition. Also, Alexandru Momoiu also obtained the maximum score in all the problems of the theoretical test, obtaining the special award for the best result in the theoretical test“, informs the Ministry of Education.
The five students who participated in the European Physics Olympiad were coordinated by teacher Delia Davidescu (from the International Theoretical Informatics High School, Bucharest) and the university professor. Dr. Sebastian Popescu (from the Faculty of Physics, “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University, Iasi).
The European Physics Olympiad took place this year in Georgia.
