Ex-head of the National Credit Guarantee Fund for SMEs cannot justify EUR 1 M in his wealth
The former head of the National Credit Guarantee Fund for SMEs, the institution that has a crucial role in granting credits for “The First House” programme, cannot justify EUR 1 million in his wealth. The integrity inspectors asked the court to seize the money.
The National Integrity Agency (ANI) established that IN Aurel Saramet’s wealth statement there is a EUR 1.058.828 difference that he cannot justify.
ANI has notified the Wealth Investigation Committee within Bucharest Court of Appeal, asking it to check how Saramet has obtained his incomes.
Aurel Saramet was director of the National Credit Guarantee Fund for SMEs during December 20,2004-November 6, 2013.
ANI says that the former director had been informed about this situation and about the investigation on his fortune and that he hadn’t filed a stance to the evaluation file yet.
