Fire devastates Bamboo club in Bucharest. One in serious condition, another 37 slightly injured

A devastating fire burst out in the Bamboo club in northern Bucharest on Saturday at 4 a.m, completely destroying the 3,000-sqm premise. 38 people were injured, but fortunately, no deaths have been reported.
Firefighters managed to rake out the fire, yet the building is mostly collapsed.
38 people were rushed to the hospitals; 21 were taken by ambulances, while 17 came by their own cars. At the moment, there are less than 10 people still hospitalized, the rest presenting minor injuries and being discharged from hospital. One person was severely injured and was intubated, but now is in better condition and conscious.
An investigation was started to determine the cause of the fire and is now conducted by the Prosecutor’s Office upon the Bucharest Tribunal and structures of the Bucharest Police. The prosecutors have started in rem criminal prosecution in this case.
