Three more people have died due to flu, the death toll reaching 68 on Wednesday, according to information from the National Centre for Disease Supervision and Control (CNSCBT) with the National Institute of Public Health (INSP).
The latest victims are two men – one 66 years old from Brasov County and another one 67 years old from Iasi County – and a 83-year-old woman from Neamt County, hotnews.ro reports.
All three people had pre-existing medical conditions and haven’t been vaccinated against flu.
Five more women have died of flu in the past days, with the death toll climbing to 62 on Tuesday.
So far, over 780 cases of influenza have been reported, the most of them in Bucharest, Iasi, Constanta. The highest intensity of the influenza has been registered in Bucharest, Constanta, Iasi and Olt, and an average one in Bihor and Arges.
