Four Romanians died and three were injured in a car crash on a motorway in the Czech Republic on Tuesday. The accident occurred on D5 motorway (Prague-Nurnberg), near Plzen.
The Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed that a truck and a vehicle, both registered in Romania, were involved in the crash. According to the local police, the truck hit the car in the back, and the vehicle was projected in the roadside obstructions.
“Following the collision, four Romanian citizens from the car died, while other three were transported to the University Hospital in Plzen. Two of them are in serious condition,” a MAE release informs. The Romanian consul urgently went to the hospital, also asking the Police for further information.
For the time being, it’s know that the Czech Police started the criminal prosecution against the driver of the truck.
