Greek biker involved in accident on Transfagarasan after getting scared by bear
A 58-year-old biker from Greece has been hospitalized on Thursday after crashing his bike in a curve on Transfagarasan alpine road. The tourist would have got scared by a bear, lost control of his motorbike and fell down on the road.
The accident took place in Arefu village. The bear was on the road and the biker got scared, failed to adjust the speed in a curve and the bike slipped off the grit on the road.
The man was taken by a SMURD crew to Curtea de Arges, with injuries at one leg.
The Greek man was accompanied by other four people.
