Guinness kicks off the parties on St.Patrick’s Day, the holiday that brings together over 70 million people in the world, for Ireland’s national day. Originated in the year of 1762 in New York, St. Patrick’s Day has been celebrated ever since in worldwide, either through the largest parade in Europe, in Munich, or in Barcelona. From Dublin to Dubai, from London to Lima, from Sidney to Stockhom, from Moscow to Monserrat, St. Patrick’s Day is about going out with your friends and have fun for one of the 13 million Guinness glasses annually consumed on this occasion.
In Romania, special activities and surprises are in store in all Guinness locations during March 16-18. Like every year, the Irish brand from the United Romanian Breweries Bereprod (URBB) portfolio, is inviting the audience form Romania to discover its Irish spirit.
According to Paul Markovits, Vice-President Marketing URBB, St. Patrick’s Day is an excellent opportunity to have fun, to tie new friendships and live unique experiences, in a celebration mood. Markovitz said that the feedback of the audience in Romania to the St. Patrick’s parties has been excellent and this year, URBB is encouraging Guinness consumers, and not only, to take part in a „bar-hopping” night in the Guinness locations.
This year, the concept of the St. Patrick’s Day campaign is „Good Time for a Guinness”.
