62 new Covid-19 infections, three deaths reported in the past 24hrs

62 new COVID-19 cases have been reported in Romania in the past 24 hours, out of 11,642 RT-PCR tests and 12,278 antigen tests conducted. The infection rate nationwide is 0.03.
Three deaths due to the coronavirus infection have been reported in the past day.
Overall, there have been 1,081,467 people infected with SARS-CoV-2 in Romania since the debut of the pandemic till July 15, 2021, with 1,046,610 declared cured.
283 Romanians infected with SARS-CoV-2 are currently hospitalized across the country, with 54 in intensive care.
The death toll surged to 34,245, with three deaths reported in the past 24 hours: two men and one woman from Satu Mare, Timiș and Teleorman.
One death was reported in the 50-59 age group, another one in the 60-69 age group and one death among patients aged 70 to 79.

Two victims had underlying conditions, one presented no comorbidity.
