‘Matei Bals’ manager: 21 children with Covid-19 in the hospital’s intensive unit. Pandemic to end in 2023
The novel coronavirus pandemic will end in 2023 and all hospitals in Romania will become Covid hospitals sooner or later, said the manager of the “Matei Bals” Institute in Bucharest, Adrian Streinu Cercel.
“In a not very far away time frame, all hospitals in Romania will become COVID units“, Streinu Cercel told Aleph News, also estimating that the pandemic will end in three years. “It will end in 2023″.
He revealed there are 21 children admitted in intensive care at Matei Bals at present. Asked if the treatment schemes are different for adults and children, the doctor said the treatment and doses are varying depending on the patient’s weight.
