Romania, at the top of vaccination, ranks 6th in the EU, 16th in the world

Romania is on the top of the ranking on vaccination against COVID-19, ranking 8th in the European Union and 16th in the world, according to Bloomberg.

The data considered for Romania are the ones on January 17 and do not include those over 300,000 vaccines taken on Monday, January 18.

U.S. rank first worldwide, with 14.3 million shoots done so far, followed by China –  10 million vaccinated people, the European Union – 5.3 million vaccines and UK with 4.3 million vaccinated people.

Among the EU countries, Italy ranks first – 1.1 million jabs, followed by Germany –  over one million, Spain with almost 760,000 immunized people, Poland – 457,303, France – 422,127 and Romania with 205,060 till January 17.
