Heat wave sticks in the upcoming three days
Forecasters on Sunday have extended the orange code warning for heat in Bihor, Arad and Satu Mare counties, where temperatures will mount to 37-38 Celsius degrees on Monday and Tuesday. Another yellow code warning will prevail on large areas in western and northwestern country.
The heat wave will extend to East and South on Monday. In Maramares, Crisana, Banat, Moldova, most part of Muntenia, southern Olteania and western Transylvania, temperatures will rise to 35-36 Celsius degrees and to 37 Celsius degrees locally. The temperature moisture index will exceed the critical threshold of 80 units.
The yellow code warning for heat will extend in the entire country as of Tuesday and Wednesday. There will be 35-26 Celsius degrees and 38 Celsius degrees in some areas, while the temperature moisture index will also exceed 80 units in plain and plateau regions.
