House of presidential aide Delia Dinu, broken into
The house of presidential adviser Delia Dinu, the head of the Presidency’s protocol department has been broken into on Saturday. Thieves have broken into the adviser’s house in Domnesti, Ilfov, while she was accompanying the head of state to the parades on the National Day in Bucharest and Alba Iulia.
The incident has been reported on Saturday, and police officers are probing into the charge of grand theft.
Delia Dinu is heading the Protocol Department within the Presidential Administration. She was appointed presidential adviser on July 1, 2016.
Delia Dinu has worked within the Protection and Guard Service (SPP) during 2000-2012.
From April 2005 to May 2008 she was counselor within the Protocol Department of the Romanian Presidential Administration and she coordinated the department during May 2008-August 2012. In August 2012 she was appointed state counselor at this department. She attended the Global Conference of the Protocol Heads-Washington in 2012 and the similar conference in Seul in 2014.
Born in 1976, Delia Dinu has graduated the Law Faculty of the “Lucian Blaga” University in Sibiu in 1999.
