How rich is the Justice minister?
According to the wealth statement recently submitted on the Justice Ministry’s website, Justice Minister Tudorel Toader has impressive incomes.
Therefore, Toader cashes in over RON 27,000 only from pension on a monthly basis.
The Justice minister has obtained RON 327,000 from pensions last year, which means a monthly income of RON 27,250.
However, in 2017, he also earned RON 176, 936 as a professor at the Law Faculty in Iasi, RON 120,000 as Justice minister, RON 69, 686 as member of the Superior Council of Magistracy (CSM), EUR 3,600 from rents and about RON 6,600 from copyright activities.
The minister also has almost 8 hectares of farmland and forests, an apartment and two houses in Vrancea county. He also owns two apartments and a house in Iasi.
Toader has three cars: two Volkswagen vehicles (Passat and Touareg) and an Audi Q3. The minister made a mistake when filling in the name of the cars, writing Wolkswagen.
