The Judicial Inspectorate has announced on Friday that it has taken notice ex-officio on February 12 following the public released information regarding the professional activity and the conduct of some prosecutors with the National Anticorruption Directorate (DNA) Ploiesti Territorial Service, with preliminary verifications being carried out in order to determine if there are indications about disciplinary misconduct, hotnews.ro informs.
“On February 12, the Judicial Inspectorate has taken notice ex-officio as a result of the release in the media of some information regarding the professional activity and the conduct of some prosecutors with the DNA Ploiesti Territorial Service. Currently, a team of judicial inspectors with the Direction of judicial inspections for prosecutors carry out prior checks in accordance with the provisions of Article 45 of the Law No. 317/2004 on the Superior Council of Magistracy, republished, with subsequent amendments, in order to determine whether there are indications regarding the occurrence of disciplinary misconduct,” the Judicial Inspection informs.
It also assures the public opinion, in this way, that it will manage the issues with professionalism, objectivity and speed with observance to all procedural guarantees.
