Justice Minister presents the new National Anticorruption Strategy

Justice Minister Raluca Pruna has said on Friday that ‘corruption is the reason why the country is not working’ during the presentation of the new National Anticorruption Strategy for 2016-2020.
Raluca Pruna said that the document was developed following an extensive consultation process involving even ordinary citizens, romania-actualitati.ro informs.
In addition to effectively combating corruption, the new strategy focuses on prevention, said Minister of Justice, who spoke about the main attributes of the new document.
Raluca Pruna: “The strategy focuses on four values: the political will – obviously the fight against corruption, in the absence of real political will the fight is not possible – integrity, priority of public interest and transparency.”
