The Court of Appeal of Paris has accepted that Gregorian Bivolaru be extradited. The decision is not final, antena3.ro reports.

Yoga instructor Gregorian Bivolaru is in the custody of French authorities. He was caught by police in France on February 26. Bivolaru is wanted by Romanian authorities after being sentenced in 2013 to prison for human trafficking and sexual acts with minors. In 2005, the so-called ‘Guru’, as he was called, received political asylum in Sweden.

The yoga instructor, 63, was detained and placed in judicial custody, for possible extradition to Romania. He was put on the list of European police agency (Europol) most wanted criminals, along with individuals such as Salah Abdeslam, wanted for involvement in the terrorist attacks committed in Paris in November 2015.

Gregorian Bivolaru, founder of MISA, the Movement for the Spiritual Integration in Absolute, fled Romania in 2005 after being prosecuted for human trafficking and organized crime. He fled to Sweden, where he made a claim for political asylum, a request granted in 2005. The Romanian Supreme Court sentenced Bivolaru to 6 years in prison in 2013 for sexual acts with a minor.

He changed his name to “Magnus Aurolsson” in 2006 and he allegedly teached yoga classes in several countries since 2010.
