The anti-corruption prosecutors from Ploiesti have asked the Prahova Tribunal to ban the insolvency procedures against Asesoft International and Teamnet International, the two IT companies founded by businessman Sebastian Ghita, currently gone missing after being investigated in several corruption cases.

The prosecutors argue that the two companies are investigated for complicity to influence peddling and money laundering and they want to be sure that the state could recover the prejudice in this file.

Investigators have already ordered distraint on some immovable properties owned by the two companies up to the value of RON 13, 299,972 and RON 23,195,578.

A second preventive arrest warrant has been issued on Ghita’s name in this file. Former PSD deputy, Sebastian Ghita has been gone missing since December last year.
