Dorin Marian, Tariceanu’s former chief of chancellery, prosecuted for perjury
Dorin Marian, head of the Prime Minister’s Chancellery during the mandate of Calin Popescu Tariceanu, is to be prosecuted by the National Anticorruption Directorate (DNA) for perjury in the Baneasa Farm restitution file and of a part of the Snagov Forest, claimed by Prince Paul, in the same file being prosecuted also Calin Popescu Tariceanu, ziare.com reports.
According to prosecutors, Dorin Marian has made false statements under oath on April 28, when he said that Marius Andrei Marcovici was his personal adviser.
Prosecutors accuse that Marcovici, along with others, made Prince Paul believe they had influence in politics and we can help him obtain the claimed restitutions.
“Marian Dorin has made untrue statements about the essential aspects of the case he was asked about, aiming at preventing/hindering investigations and proving the criminal responsibility of the defendants investigated the file sent to court,” DNA says in a press statement.
