A young woman was found dead on Thursday morning on the beach in Mamaia and Police identified her as Laura Roșca, aged 34, known in the music world as DJ Lalla. Originally from Turda, Cluj county, Laura had a show on a radio station from Bucharest. On social networks, the young woman had thousands of followers and periodically posted videos with her.
The dead body of the young woman was found on Thursday morning, in the Mamaia resort. Several tourists walking on the beach saw the body on the sand and called 112.
The police investigating the death of Laura Roșca, known as DJ Lalla, consider two options, namely accidental drowning or suicide.
The 34-year-old could have accidentally drowned as the wind gusted to more than 50 km/h on Thursday morning, the sea was rough and the red flag was raised.
Another option is that Laura Roșca wanted to commit suicide. In one of her latest posts on social media, she said she suffered from depression but added that she was determined to fight it.
According to Digi24 sources, Laura Roșca, known as DJ Lalla, had come to a friend from Mamaia whom she had met on Tik Tok a month ago. The man said he woke up with her at the door and she told him she had had an argument with her boyfriend.
On Thursday morning, DJ Lalla went to see the sunrise on the beach in Mamaia and never came back.
