Foreclosure decision for EUR 40,000 against C.V. Tudor
PSD MEP Ana Birchall has started the proceedings against Corneliu Vadim Tudor, after the court ruled the leader of the Greater Romania Party (PRM) is to pay damages worth EUR 40,000.
Ana Birchall has confirmed that it has begun proceedings to enforce the decision in the file no. 12804/302/2013 in which CV Tudor was sentenced to pay the sum of EUR 40,000, representing damages for violations of honor, reputation and image, as well as the right to privacy and family, gandul.info informs.
“I confirm that I’ve initiated the proceedings to enforce the judgment in the file no. 12804/302/2013 in which Mr. Corneliu Vadim Tudor was sentenced to pay the amount of EUR 40,000 as moral damages for violations of honor, reputation and image, and the right to privacy and family. I’ve never accepted and I will never accept that my name may be soiled or me being the target of slander, despicable attacks that disregard of truth and reality,” said PSD MP Ana Birchall on Facebook.
Birchall said she will recover “every penny owed by Mr. Corneliu Vadim Tudor,” even though “it will take years” and the money will be used to provide merit scholarships to students. The Bucharest Court decision follows the PSD deputy’s demand for damages in court, due to defamatory articles published by CV Tudor.
