Hexi Pharma Company concluded, during 2014-2016, contracts for the sale of biocide products with 152 medical units in Romania, the value of the contracts amounting to RON 51 million, the Prosecutor General’s Office has informed on Tuesday.

According to a release, “during 2014-2016, Hexi Pharma signed contracts for the sale of biocide products with 152 health facilities in Romania.”

Investigators have determined that the “value of Hexi Pharma contracts with these medical units, for the sale of biocide products on which deviations from the concentration of active substances were found is of about RON 51 million.”

Prosecutor General of Romania, Augustin Lazar said on Tuesday that prosecutors conducting the investigation on the diluted disinfectants will determine the damage in question, stating that the amount may change in the next few days.

On Tuesday the forensic experts have conducted the autopsy, while the life partner of the Hexi Pharma owner, Uliana Ochinciuc, recognized the corpse as of Dan Condrea’s, sources from the Medical Service Ilfov said. According to the source, evidence from Dan Condrea’s home has been brought to the forensic institute in order to conduct the DNA tests.

Dan Condrea’s autopsy was continued on Tuesday. The doctors, following an extensive analysis, have excluded the hypothesis of a heart attack or a stroke. According to medical sources, the heart was normal, and his death was caused by the violent impact. “The causes of death are the serious injuries. The heart was all right, it was normal. There is no question that he had a heart attack or a stroke,” the sources said.

According to the Prosecutor’s Office upon the High Court of Cassation and Justice (Supreme Court) Condrea’s death was violent, following collision with tough bodies and the crushing components of the vehicle. A release informs that provisional conclusions after the autopsy say the death was violent. DNA tests are to be conducted in the investigation, it also reads.

The victim has been recognized by his concubine by particular marks, the release reads.

The investigators have also collected from the accident’s site the victim’s telephones which are to be tested according to the IT searching procedures, as well as his ID and driving license.

Regarding the manslaughter file regarding the accident, the Prosecutor General of Romania stated that further evidence will be considered.
