Searches in Bucharest and in ten counties in case of EUR 9m evasion. Businessman Georgica Cornu investigated

Police conducted 61 searches in Bucharest and ten counties on Tuesday morning, targeting companies and homes of people suspected of tax evasion and money laundering through fictitious trade, accounting for the acquisition costs of building materials, damage exceeding EUR 9 million.

Businessmen Georgica Cornu (photo) and Nicolae Semen, as well as the manager of a family-owned business belonging to Baia de Arama mayor, Rafael Dun?rin?u, are also under investigation in the case of tax evasion with damages.
