Trade unionist Liviu Luca, indicted by DIICOT along with other seven defendants
Trade unionist Liviu Luca was indicted by DIICOT Ploiesti on Wednesday, along with seven other defendants, in a file related to several offenses, including the establishment of an organized criminal group, embezzlement and money laundering.
“The defendant Luca Liviu could carry out the criminal activity because he controlled both the Association of Employees of the SNP Petrom SA and SC PSV COMPANY SA (formerly Petromservice), as union leader (FSLI Petrom), as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association of Employees of SNP Petrom SA, and respectively as representative of the shareholder at the General Assembly of Shareholders of SC PSV COMPANY SA (formerly Petromservice SA).
These fraudulent activities damaged SC PSV COMPANY SA (formerly Petromservice) by the amount of RON 14,649,762.73 (approx. EUR 3,270,000).
It also was noted that the members of the criminal group, by subsequent acts, tried to conceal the fact that the defendant Luca Liviu is the real beneficiary of the construction,” reads a DIICOT release.
