Lucian Netejoru gets second term to head the Judicial Inspectorate
Judge Lucian Netejoru, believed to be close to the Superior Council of Magistracy (CSM) chief Lia Savonea, has got a new term to lead the Judicial Inspectorate, following the contest organized by CSM. He has been the only candidate for the job.
A CSM release reads that Netejoru obtained the maximum level of points in the contest – 100, hotnews.ro reports.
The contest took place during December 21, 2018-March 28, 2019. Lucian Netejoru passed on Wednesday the interview in front of a CSM commission led by Lia Savonea.
Lucian Netejoru has led the Judicial Inspectorate since 2015. His first term expired on September 2018, but was extended by an emergency ordinance supported by Justice Minister Tudorel Toader. The ordinance was issued without the CSM opinion.
