Med student killed on pedestrian crossing by drunken driver in Bucharest

A 22-year-old medical student died on Wednesday after she was hit by a truck trailer on a pedestrian crossing in Bucharest.
The accident occurred in front of the National Forensic Institute, as the student had just been there to take an examination. More witnesses said the young girl was hit while she was on the pedestrian crossing.
Police sources told Mediafax that the driver of the truck trailer was drunk, as the alcohol tester pointed to a 0.29 mg/liter value.
