Members of USR-PLUS Alliance thank people in the street for the vote

Tens of members of the USR-PLUS Alliance 2020 went out in the street in Bucharest on Tuesday evening to thank citizens for the vote in the EP elections. Politicians gathered in Victoriei Square and left marching down to Unirii Square, while chanting “Thank you”.

Holding banners with the message “Thank you” ,they went to Bucharest’s busiest boulevards and crossroads at rush hour so that their message can be heard by as many Bucharesters as possible.

They also stayed in bus stations and shouted “Thank you” when people were getting off the buses.

USR-PLUS members also reached the town’s old center chanting “United we save Romania”. People applauded them, and politicians replied with cheers as well.

USR-PLUS ranked third in the European elections of Sunday, with 21.78% of the votes and they won elections in Bucharest, Diaspora, and more counties:  Brașov, Cluj, Constanța, Iași, Sălaj, Timiș, but also in a considerable numbers of cities: Bacău, Buzău, Baia Mare, Craiova, Galați, Pitești, Ploiești, Târgoviște, Tulcea, Râmnicu Vâlcea and Vaslui.
