The National Administration for Meteorology (ANM) has issued Tuesday morning a warning for bad weather countrywide.
The warning is in force since 9.30h and will be in force until September 27, at 09.00h, ANM further informs.
During this interval, the weather will be cold, with temperatures by 4-8 degrees Celsius lower that the average. During the nights and in the morning, locally in central Romania, on isolated areas in the north-west and in the hills of Munteania and Oltenia, the temperatures will drop below 0 degrees C and hoar-frost will be present, ziare.com informs.
On Tuesday, the wind will intensify in most of the country, with higher speeds at the seaside, in the northern and central Moldavia, of up to 55-70 km/h.
In the mountains, mainly in the Southern and Curvature Carpathians, the wind gusts will reach 70-90 km/h.
At altitudes higher than 1,500 mixed precipitations are expected.
On Wednesday, the wind gusts will occur in the eastern and south-eastern regions, with speeds of 45-55 km/h.
