The Monarchy’s Day will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 10. The Press Office of His Majesty King Mihai I has sent the official programme for May 10, 2017.
At 10.30h, at the King Carol I Statue in the Royal Palace Square a military ceremony and the laying of wreaths will take place. The Army Representative Orchestra, the 30th Guard Brigade Mihai Viteazul, as well as the mounted Gendarmerie will attend the event. The event will begin with the musical recital of the Military Orchestra, realitatea.net reports.
At 11.00h at the King Carol I statue will arrive Her Royal Highness Princess Margareta and Prince Radu together with Princess Maria.
At 17.00h, the Elisabeta Palace Garden will host the Garden Party event occasioned by May 10.
The traditional event will be attended by guests from all counties and from Republic of Moldova, central and local authorities, academics, cultural, scientific and political personalities, diplomatic corps representatives, businessmen and clergy representatives.
As in previous years, three aircraft will fly over Elisabeth Palace at 18.00h. The representative music of the Ministry of National Defence and the Military Choir will hold a concert in the palace garden.
The event will be attended by Her Royal Highness Princess Margareta, Prince Radu and Princess Maria. The Royal Family will go to the palace balcony to welcome guests at 17.00h.
