NATO exercise in Babadag shooting range
Large exercises are to take place in Babadag shooting range. For one week, troops from Bulgaria, Romania, Slovenia and the United States will conduct a NATO exercise in order to improve the defence in Eastern Europe, digi24.ro reports.
The military applications will unfold during seven days. The exercise ‘Platinum Lynx’ reunites Marines and sailors with the Black Sea Rotational Force. On Monday, troops from Romania, Bulgaria, Slovenia and the United States will practice platoon tactics and at company level. These drills will improve cooperation and the combat power of the NATO states.
In addition, through this collaboration, it is possible train in order to respond as allied forces to a crisis anywhere in the world. The Black Sea Rotational Force is an annual exercise conducted by the US Navy Infantry Forces Command deployed in Europe and Africa, held in the Black Sea, the Balkans and the Caucasus region.
