No snowy Christmas in Bucharest this year either. When are the first snowfalls expected?
Meteorologist says that it’s less likely to snow in Bucharest on Christmas, as the barycenter of the winter has moved in January in the past years and the month of December has become warmer, at least in southern country where the Capital city is located.
Weather forecasters estimate that the average temperature in Bucharest next month will mount to 0.1C, with falls to exceed 35 liters per square meter.
The average temperature reported in January will be -1.1C, so it will be warmer than usual in January, too, while there will be 0.6C in February.
Meteorologists say that southern country, including Bucharest may face a blizzard in December, two in January and one or two in February.
