One of the newly set up companies by the Bucharest City Hall, Trustul de Cladiri Metropolitane (Metropolitan Buildings Trust) has bought, through direct acquisition, two iPhone 8 Plus and five iPhone 8, together with telephony subscriptions, worth no less than RON 59,968 (EUR 12,877). The contract was directly granted to Connect Business Group, ‘Banii nostri’ magazine reports.

Trustul de Cladiri Metropolitane Bucuresti is one of the 22 companies established by the Bucharest City Hall, with offices on Johann Gutenberg St., the only company out of the 22 which is not registered on Aristide Demetriade St.

According to an investigation conducted by, the address points to a devastated building, currently under reconstruction.

Some would wonder if this is the effective way to start doing business in favour of the Bucharest citizens…
