Budgetary salaries will be frozen in 2015 at the end of this year level, according to a draft emergency ordinance obtained by Mediafax.
The only exception will be for teachers, whose salaries will grow in two tranches, with up to 5 percent as of March and as of September. Also, under certain conditions, the staff in health domain where the basic gross salary will increase from January 1, 2015 by RON 100.
This provision does not apply if the personnel will receive next year a base salary increase with more than RON 100, due to the growth of the minimum gross salary guaranteed payment.
The same document reveals that next year the Government will also ban prizes, vouchers and holiday bonuses awarding to employees, but will continue to reward extra work over the normal working hours, including weekends and holidays, only by free time, not with money.
