For Friday the yellow code alert for heat is maintained for most of the country, especially in the plains and plateaus, where the temperature-humidity index (THI) will exceed the critical threshold of 80 units. Maximum temperatures will regularly reach 35-37 degrees C and 38 degrees C in isolated areas.
