Passenger dies aboard plane landing in Iasi, flight coming from the Netherlands
A 51-year old man died aboard an airplane preparing to land on Iasi International Airport (north-eastern Romania) after a cardiac arrest.
Iasi UPU-SMURD chief, Diana Cimpoesu, said the SMURD team was called Sunday evening to intervene on the Iasi Airport, as a 51-year old man had a heart attack, stiri.tvr.ro informs.
SMURD was already on the airport, after bringing a man from Bacau city by helicopter. The resuscitation procedures lasted about one hour, but eventually the man was declared dead.
The flight attendants say that during the flight the man did not complain of anything and had no signs of feeling sick.
The plane was coming from the Netherlands with destination Iasi.
