Pupils joking on bomb threat at local institution’s HQs in Pitesti
Authorities were on the alert on Friday after two fourth-grade pupils from a school in Pitesti sent an email to the Arges County Administration of Public Finances, threatening to detonate a bomb at the institution’s headquarters. In exchange, they were asking that Pitesti mayor Tudor Pendiuc and local businessman Cornel Penescu should be released from jail.
After investigating the incident, police established the kids were just joking about that while attending a class in the computer science lab of the school.
The two children won’t receive any penal or civil sanctions, as they are underage.
