Record low temperature in Romania: minus 4C

The lowest temperature of this season, since early September until now, has been recorded this morning at Joseni, Harghita county, Transylvania: minus 4C. The weather will remain colder than usual until the end of the week.

Thursday will be pretty cold countrywide, with temperatures ranging from 14C to 22C (in the south).

It will be raining in most part of Dobruja region, with scattered showers in the southern and northern territories. Rains will turn to sleet and snowfalls on the mountain peaks.

Temperatures will slightly increase on Sunday, September 22, with rainfalls prevailing in northern and northeastern Romania until Saturday night.

There will be maximum 20C in Bucharest today.
