Road Infrastructure manager sacked due to snow removal-related deficiencies

The managing board of the National Company of Road Infrastructure Management convened on Wednesday decided to sack General Manager Catalin Homor. The official ground reproached to Homor is the deficient management of the CNAIR activities lately, including those related to snow removal.

During the meeting, the members of the managing board found out deficiencies in managing the CNAIR activities lately and decided the revocation of the general manager Catalin Homor,” reads a press release by the Transport Ministry.

The new Transport minister Razvan Cuc ordered the ministry’s control body to probe into the CNAIR activity, to check the snow removal equipment, special snow removal vehicles, fuel and non-slip stocks, as well as the situation of the snow removal contracts clinched with private companies.
